Pavel Otdelnov was born in 1979 in Dzerzhinsk, Russia. He is educated at the Moscow State Academic Art Institute, named after V.I.Surikov, and the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA), Moscow. Until February 2022, he lived and worked in Moscow. Now he spends some time in Sweden.
