Separatutställning: Rebecka Bebben Andersson

In “Without daylight / In a dark time”, Rebecka Bebben Andersson takes us on a tour of three, possibly four exhibition rooms (depending on the project’s budget, which we are also presented with). The exhibition shows new installations based on experiences of smells, tastes, touch, hearing and emotions from various waiting rooms described in detail. We also get to see the art gallery’s toilet, outdoor environment and possible workshop offerings.

Rebecka Bebben Andersson (b. 1984) is educated in fine arts, architecture and scenography at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, KTH and the Royal Swedish Opera. She works with a range of different modes of expression and often returns to themes such as power structures, absurdity and mental illness. Her work has been shown extensively both in Sweden and internationally, for example at ArkDes and Färgfabriken in Stockholm, the Swedish Institute in Paris and Charlottenborg in Copenhagen. She is currently working on her work for SL, where she is designing eight concrete facades along the new Tvärbanan line.
