Hänföraren – a radio play

David Thurfjell, Fredrik Hulting, Johan Berglund, Johannes Söderqvist, Gustav Ahlsson and Alexander Gottsen perform a reading of Lotta Lotass’s radio play "Härföraren".

Keeping up with the times can be a good thing. But it can also be a limitation. It takes a special kind of ability to break free from the tyranny of the moment. The former member of the Swedish Academy and author Lotta Lotass stands out for her extraordinary ability to blaze new literary trails – without anxiety and without conformism. This is also the case with the work she has had published by Rönnells Förlag in 2024 (in a very limited edition of 30 copies and virtually impossible to get hold of) and the one to which the Ljungelden Storytellers’ Society wishes to draw our attention during the Småland Triennial, namely Härföraren – a radio play. It is, in fact, difficult to imagine anything less topical than a reflection on the death of Gustav II Adolf at Lützen, but it is perhaps in this very way that Lotta Lotass demonstrates her greatness.
