Program
Forage and cook edible plants, for all kids!
Artist Prachi Patil and psychologist Kirsten van den Berg are coming to Sommarhäng with their project Foraged fika. We will learn about and look for edible plants in Österängen, which we will then cook and eat together. Join us and set the table for a delicious feast!
Foraged Fika is a food and culture project that reimagines the Swedish fika in a more environmentally and culturally sustainable way. By exploring edible wild plants, we try to bring people closer to the nature that is all around them – even in the city – and make the “wild pantry” feel like a natural part of everyday life.
The activity is free and is aimed at children between 6 and 12 years old. Drop in between 11 AM and 3 PM!
You can also follow the project on Instagram: @foragedfika or check this out: https://studiopp.co/foraged-fika
Foraged fika is part of Sommarhäng, which is Österängens konsthall’s summer activity for children and the Bästa Biennalen Kollo.
