Stina Nilsson is a dancer based in Jönköping, educated at the Ballet Academy in Umeå and the School of Modern Dance in Copenhagen.
Stina bases her artistic work on improvisation as a scenic expression, where the communication between the artists, the audience, the space and time sets the framework for a composition that is created in the present. She often collaborates with artists from different art forms, such as visual arts, music and poetry. Stina often works with creating dance outside the classic stage spaces, she performs in museums, art halls, empty retail spaces, and also site-specifically in public space.
