Jens Henricson was born in 1979 in Helsingborg and lives and works in Malmö. He studied documentary film at Öland Folk High School from 1999 to 2000 and film at Fridhem Folk High School from 2000 to 2002. Between 2002 and 2008, he studied at Malmö Art Academy, where he obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA).
